IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - ALL MEETINGS ARE DUE TO TAKE PLACE IN OUR NORMAL CLUB ROOMS IN NORTH SHIELDS, BUT DUE TO CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS THERE MAY NIGHTS WE ARE UNABLE TO MEET IN PERSON . OCTOBER 2021
  4th: Our Chairman David Peffer's Opening Night
 11th: Show Reel from Nuneaton Moviemakers (not received in time, so we saw one from Derby instead)
 18th: An evening with our friend Michael Gough
 25th: (Change to programme) Practical evening - shooting Dave's latest One Minute script


NOVEMBER 2021
  1st: (Change to programme) Showreel from Nuneaton (postponed from last month) and review our film shot the previous week
  8th: (Change to programme - now via Zoom) Simon Rushton (Newcastle University) with his own films

 15th: (Change to programme) Another shoot of Dave's One Minute film from 25th October
22nd: Our Vice-Chairman's evening, with Steven Wears - we shot our latest One Minute film by Dave called 'Quiet Please!) Also entries due for next             week's competition, please

29th: Our 'Open' Competition - we had five entries, judged by the members. The Result:
            1st: 'Island Visitors' by Trevor Ermel
           2nd: 'So this is Blyth' by Doug Tweddle
            3rd: 'Three-cornered castle' by Reg Checkley


DECEMBER 2021
   6th: Questions, Answers and Films with Cain Scrimgeour
 13th: Christmas party Night with fish and chips and some old films to watch

  No meetings 20th & 27th December: Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!


JANUARY 2022
  (3rd:No meeting)
 10th: (originally to be: Make a film in the Club Rooms)
          CHANGE TO PROGRAMME! Now to be held via Zoom, a chance for members to show some of their earlier films
 17th: An evening with our own Doug Tweddle

 24th: Another club showreel, plus we finalise our films for tomorrow's 50/50 Joint Night
 27th: (THURSDAY) Photos & Films 50/50 Joint Night with the main Society
 31st: Family Films & Films to Music Night

FEBRUARY 2022
   7th:  Showreel from Bolton Movie Makers
 14th:  Showreel from Larry Hall

  21st: Our 'Holiday' Competition - three entries, judged by the five members present.
             RESULT: Joint 1st: 'Cambridge and Beyond' by Alwyn Scott & 'Three Weeks at Sea' by Trevor Ermel
                             3rd: 'By Train to Glenwood Springs' by Doug Tweddle

  28th: Films from former members Cliff, Henry, Kip and more

MARCH 2022
   7th: CHANGE TO PROGRAME! (from 7th February) John Campbell illustrating some of his wonderful films using the music of Gustav Mahler

 14th: Our 'One Minute' Competition - postponed until 28th March. We watched more from Larry Hall instead
 21st: Show Reel from Edinburgh
 28th: More from 'Film High Up' drones in Wales, plus our 'One Minute' Competition (postponed from 14th March)
          RESULT:  1st: 'Train Crash' by Trevor Ermel
                          2nd: 'Grandparent's Answering Machine' by Alwyn Scott
                          3rd: 'Used Once in Anger' by John Burton


APRIL 2022
  4th: Our 'Annual' (best of the best ) Competition, judged by TPS President Alan Forster
           RESULT: 1st: 'Three Weeks at Sea' by Trevor Ermel
                           2nd: 'Cambridge and Beyond' by Alwyn Scott
                           Joint 3rd: 'So this is Blyth' by Doug Tweddle & 'Train Crash' by Trevor Ermel
                           'Best nature' award to 'Island Visitors' by Trevor Ermel

 11th: Our AGM  - Seven members attended
 18th: No meeting - Happy Easter!
 25th: Trophies Night with Fish & Chips
